It is a city of quiet solidity, home to a well-regulated market, a well-disciplined army, and scores of quiet ale-houses whose brews are often praised as the best in all Elgea. Trade descriptionIt is hard to believe, on entering Caer Morock’s market, that one is in fact, underground; a thousand unseen lamps illuminate the cavern, giving the illusion of daylight, and somewhere... nowhere... everywhere... birds sing exquisitely in the trees. Yes, trees – underground! It is a sad fact that of all the Dwarven tribes, only Clan Raeshag retains the skill and knowledge to grow subterranean crops. <br><br>It is entirely understandable that merchants from far and near are keen to trade in the market of Caer Morock, after all, in addition to the food and myriad useful things Clan Raeshag has to trade (antium polishing stones, widia axeheads, and the beautiful sintered bridal rings so beloved of couples far and wide), there is also the matter of its fine taverns, where everyone knows it’s possible to have a pie and a pint in peaceful surroundings, without having to worry about having a stool broken over one’s head. |
