Damquka (741, 382)#62

Guarded by deep ravines, ancient walls and the Mountain Guard of the Kanchalka court, the city of Damquka has been a pilgrimage centre since the Second Age. Local lore tells that it is through the mountains of Taomist that blessed souls ascend to heaven, and even the most sceptical scholars confirm that the altars of the city's Temples date back even to the First Age.

Trade description

In dealing with the Kanchalka of Damquka, one must have infinite patience, for unlike almost all of the rest of Elgea, trade among the dreaming spires of this cloud-covered mountain-top city is not simply a case of exchanging money for goods... and what you think you travelled there for may well be not what you return home with.

In this place between two worlds, the architecture of the Damqukan market reflects the natural geography of the city; tall, pale marble pilasters are topped by billowing cloud-like canopies of gossamer the colour of doves’ wings against a pastel sunrise. Instead of conventional stalls and tables, merchants sit on low benches, or on opulent velvet cushions, with no visible sign of any goods for sale, not even the exquisite Plum Brandy for which Damquka is famed. Negotiations may sometimes take days; the Damqukan, not noted for their conversational skills, prefer to observe, to gauge the measure of a person. Only when they are satisfied that a fair trade will take place, will they proceed... initially, trading only like for like.

Qainaqangma (630, 281)#63

On the edge of Kanchalka territory, the Mountain Guards of Qainagangma see themselves as the guardians of the civilised east against the brutal hordes who roam beyond their lands. To the west are the Sma Uruk, and to the south, the Crimson Skulls. This lonely mountain seems, for its defenders, a solitary beacon of civilisation.

Recorded faction changes

Latest 100 retained faction observations, newest first. This is a bounded faction audit, not a hub-change or player/alliance-standing history. Before and after labels come from each observation.

No faction changes recorded in the retained history.

The initial import establishes a baseline. No recorded changes does not prove the faction never changed. Retained coverage may have gaps; missing values are not zero, and feed absence does not prove an in-game removal.
